When creating her paintings and illustrations, Anna Simtniece strives to capture moods and emotions, immortalizing the essence of a moment. She refers to her works as "Stories of Feelings," allowing viewers to return to their emotional memories. Her inspiration comes from nature, music, and the fleeting moments of everyday life and celebrations.

 

Anna enjoys experimenting with textures, patterns, shapes, and colors, delicately exploring the essence of each feeling. The result is a captivating and immersive experience that resonates with every viewer.

 

Anna holds an education from Riga School of Design and Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Art Academy of Latvia. Initially, she worked as a clothing designer, graphic designer, and children’s fashion illustrator. Ultimately, illustration became her primary focus, and in the past five years, she has happily returned to painting.
