Artist Dārta Lote Bērziņa has been actively working in the field of art for three decades, having completed her studies at the Limbaži Music and Art School, the Jānis Rozentāls Art School, and graduating with bachelor's and master's degrees in painting from the Art Academy of Latvia. She has participated in various projects and exhibitions in Latvia as well as abroad, including Lithuania, France, Belgium, Slovakia, China, and others. Dārta views her works as a developmental process, where through meditation she releases excess energy, leaving behind imprints of her emotions. Realism and symbolism are closest to her, especially in the depiction of the human figure and nature in various dimensions. She is not afraid to experiment with new and unconventional ideas, often combining different media in her works. Art for the soul is like an endless itch that can never be fully satisfied. Every new, unexplored material or surface is a challenge willingly embraced, gradually bridging the mystical boundaries between classic canvases and the Universe.
