Aeriformys verbus the only species within the fungal division Lingvomycota. It is commonly known by the name the whispering ball, the fat babbler. The defining feature of this fungus is its
spores, which are lexical units. Such spores are called verbumospores.
The wild whispering ball have approximately the same set of verbumospores. The illustration shows the most common verbumospores (Fig. 1)
However, something else is much more interesting. Aeriformys verbus is characterized by a process of "appropriation". If you repeat the same words or phrases over the fungus before the start of sporogenesis, the verbumospores will change to spoken ones.
Whispering balls are extremely successfully cultivated by local tribes to record legends, tales, codes of rules
