In the USSR, during difficult times, the ballet "Swan Lake" was displayed non-stop on the TV. In the days when such people as Brezhnev, Andropov and Chernenko ended their paths, the ballet was shown from dusk to night, especially during the 1991 coup, for three consecutive days without a break.
"If they show it all day, it means something has happened!"
- people thought and were right.
Now it has become a symbol of reticence and upcoming changes.
